Bear Blanket

The first stage of making the bear blanket took several weeks to prepare. I blended the Bear hair with all natural sheep's wool to help hold it together. During this stage, the Bear hair was washed and carded before forming it into the rectangular battings seen below. Finally, I pulled the battings into long thin rovings to prepare them for my mom to spin into wool and start weaving the Bear into the blanket shown below
